In addition to the reliable starting and fuel efficiency offered by FI, a generously sized fuel tank enables long ranges between fuel stops. The KLR650’s 652 cc four-valve single produces a flat power curve that lets you navigate trails and cruise at freeways speeds effortlessly. Based on the high-tensile steel, semi-double cradle frame that has established a great level of trust from the market over the past 30 years, an integrated rear frame and a long swingarm contribute to composed handling at highway speeds, with and without luggage.

Panniers and top case developed in collaboration with SHAD are available as accessories*. One-key compatibility and a top-opening design makes it easy to add and remove items. Complementing the accessory panniers and top case, a large aluminium rear cargo rack contributes to carrying capacity.*Panniers are standard equipment on the KLR650 Adventure.
Power for Accessories
To meet the power needs of grip heaters, fog lamps and other electrical accessories, the ACG has an output of 26 A. A total capacity of 80 W is available to power accessories (depending on usage).
